Description
The Government will provide $17.9 million over 4 years from 2023-24 to continue additional capacity within the Australian Border Force's Airline Liaison Officer Program to disrupt illegitimate international travel to Australia. The Government has ceased further work on the Digital Passenger Declaration as it is no longer a priority since the easing of COVID-19 border restrictions, resulting in expenditure savings of $121.4 million over 3 years from 2022-23.
