The Government will provide additional funding of $5.1 million in 2023-24 to continue functions of the National Careers Institute and to evaluate its role in supporting Australians to access careers information. Funding will ensure the Your Career website is based on the latest labour market data and will continue the delivery of the School Leavers Information Kit to enable young people to make informed decisions about their education, employment, and training pathways. The cost of this measure will be met from savings identified in the 2023-24 Budget measure titled Employment and Workplace Relations - reprioritisation.
