of a registered provider means a student (whether within or outside Australia):

(a) who is accepted for enrolment, or enrolled, in a course provided by the provider; and

for a reviewable decision has the meaning given by section 169AB.

of a provider means a person (whether within or outside Australia) who represents or acts on behalf of the provider, or purports to do so, in dealing with overseas students or intending overseas students.

for a course means the day on which the course was scheduled to start, or a later day agreed between the registered provider for the course and the student.

has the meaning given by subsection 19(1A).

for a course for a location means a provider approved by a relevant designated authority to provide that course at that location to overseas students, other than an approval that has been withdrawn by that authority.

means a school provider approved (however described) by a designated State authority to provide courses to:

(a) if the school provider is located in Tasmania or the Australian Capital Territorystudents for that State or Territory; or

has the meaning given by section 21.

of a person has the meaning given by section 6.

means a notice given under section 116.

means the framework for recognition and endorsement of qualifications:

(a) that is established by the Council consisting of the Ministers for the Commonwealth and each State and Territory responsible for higher education; and

means:

(aa) if, under subsection 170(2), the Secretary delegates a power to TEQSA that TEQSA considers requires powers to be exercised under Part 7a person who is an authorised officer (within the meaning of the TEQSA Act); or

(a)

of the ESOS agency for a registered provider has the meaning given by section 6A.

means the TPS Advisory established by section 55A.

means a member of the Board appointed under section 55D, including the Chair and the Deputy Chair.
