has the meaning given by subsection 98GC(1).

means invalidity benefit under section 26.

means invalidity benefit consisting of invalidity pay.

means the quarter ending on 30 June.

(short for living cost index percentage) has the meaning given by section 98GD.

means the quarter ending on 31 March.

has the meaning given by section 6A.

does not include a person who is a member as defined by subsection 3(1) of the Defence Force ( Papua New Guinea ) Retirement Benefits Act 1973 .

means a person who is, or at any time on or after the date of commencement of the scheme, has been, an eligible member of the Defence Force.

, in relation to a superannuation interest, means the spouse who has the superannuation interest.

means the superannuation scheme established under the Military Superannuation and Benefits Act 1991 .

, in relation to a superannuation interest, means the spouse who is not the member spouse in relation to that interest.

means a pension benefit other than standard pension.

means an officer of the Defence Force .
