Description
The Government will save $9.5 million over 4 years from 2023-24 through the abolition of the North Queensland Water Infrastructure Authority. The Government will transfer the functions of the North Queensland Water Infrastructure Authority to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water. Savings from this measure will be redirected to fund other Government policy priorities.
