Modernisation and Sustainment of ICT Systems

The Government will provide $254.1 million over 4 years from 2023-24 (and $56.1 million per year ongoing from 2027-28) to replace, enhance and sustain the Department of Veterans' Affairs' new and at-risk legacy ICT systems. This measure builds on the 2022-23 October Budget measure titled Modernisation to Reduce Wait Times to Access Support and Services. This measure supports the Australian Government Response to the Interim Report of the Royal Commission into Defence and Veteran Suicide.
