Develop a 10 Year National Action Plan to support the health and wellbeing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer and Asexual (LGBTIQA+) people and establish a LGBTIQA+ Health Advisory Group.
The Government will provide $0.9 million over two years from 2022-23 to develop a 10 Year National Action Plan to support the health and wellbeing of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer and Asexual (LGBTIQA+) people and establish a LGBTIQA+ Health Advisory Group. The Action Plan will provide a national framework to improve the health outcomes of, and address health disparities, experienced by LGBTIQA+ Australians. The cost of this measure will be met from within the existing resourcing of the Department of Health and Aged Care. This measure builds on the 2022-23 October Budget measure titled Supporting the Health and Wellbeing of LGBTIQA+ People.
