means a boat other than an Australian boat.

of the Authority means the functions and powers of the Authority as they relate to:

, in relation to another body (whether incorporated or otherwise), means the persons having the management of the affairs of that other body.

means the fishing industry including the catching, processing and marketing sectors of that industry.

means a member of the Council and includes the Chairperson and a Deputy of a member of the Council.

means:

means a person appointed by the Minister under section 12 to be a nominated director of the Authority.

means a person appointed as a part ‐ time commissioner under subsection 12(1), and includes the Chairperson of the Commission.

means such body (whether incorporated or otherwise) representative generally of persons engaged in the industry as is prescribed for the purposes of this definition.

means a plan of management of a fishery determined by the Authority under an associated law.

means a port permit granted under section 94.

means the Presiding Member of Australian Fisheries Management Authority Selection Committees appointed under section 25.

in relation to a fishery means:

has the meaning given by section 6A.

means a scientific permit granted under section 33.

means an Australian Fisheries Management Authority Selection Committee established under section 28.

means a working group of the Council established under section 109.
